Celtic winger Paddy McCourt is relishing taking on Hibernian in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Saturday at the end of a difficult week which saw him sent bullets in the post.

Strathclyde Police are carrying out an investigation after a package containing bullets and addressed to McCourt at Celtic Park was discovered by Royal Mail workers in the east end of Glasgow on Tuesday.

Asked if the events of this week had impacted on him, McCourt replied: "No, not at all."

Celtic travel to Easter Road at the top of the SPL, five points ahead of Rangers, but having played three games more.

Lennon's side drew 1-1 at bottom club Hamilton on Wednesday night, but are aware they are facing a 10th-placed Hibs team at a low ebb.

McCourt added: "Hibs are under-achieving. They've got a good squad of players and I don't think anyone can put their finger on why they're so low in the league.

"But I'm sure they'll be going out on Saturday to put things right and put on a good performance.

"Hamilton had a game plan and stuck to it well and made it difficult for us.

"We'll be doing our utmost to put things right for ourselves on Saturday and pick up three points."
