McCourt itching to get back next season

While the break is welcome, Paddy McCourt is eager to put things right next season Paddy McCourt and his team mates are desperate to "put things right" next season after a frustrating time which ended up with nothing to show for their efforts. It hurt even more that Rangers picked up their second SPL title in a row and Dundee United picked up the Scottish Cup after the Hoops fell at the semi-final hurdle to Ross County. Neil Lennon stepping in as interim manager helped a little (too late) o steady the ship ttowards the end of the season when he steered the club to eight wins out of eight in the SPL after taking over from Tony Mowbray. McCourt may not have been involved in those games but he is as eager as everyone else to come back stronger next season. He said: "Personally, I never played the last eight league games, which was a bit disappointing. But the team is more important and they were winning games so that's the most important thing and that's all that matters. I think everyone is just looking forward to getting a break. We know this year wasn't good enough and are looking to recharge our batteries, come back next season and hopefully put things right."
