Adam Matthews will establish himself as one of the best players in Scotland when he moves north of the border at the end of the season - according to Cardiff team-mate Paul Quinn. Matthews, 19, last week penned a pre-contract agreement with Celtic having failed to agree new terms with the Bluebirds. Fellow full-back Quinn certainly knows all about football in his native Scotland having spent seven years with Motherwell before heading to the Welsh capital in July 2009, and he believes Matthews will take the Scottish Premier League by storm. "Adam has all the footballing attributes to be one of the best players in Scotland," Quinn told the South Wales Echo. "He is a good player now and will get better with Celtic - he is going to shine in the SPL. Adam can save Celtic a fortune. "Money is tight these days so clubs have to be careful when they spend it. But, even if he doesn`t cost much now, he will flourish and soon be worth big money. "I don`t think he is anywhere near the finished article yet. That will come because he`s a brilliant talent designed for big things."
