Lennon hopes to keep run going
Neil Lennon believes a game against Hearts is the perfect way for Celtic to return to SPL duty following their victory in Russia on Tuesday. The Hoops beat Spartak Moscow 3-2 to registers their first away win in the group stages of the Champions League and take them behind Group G leaders Barcelona with four points from two games. A win over the Jambos at Parkhead will guarantee Celtic retain their top spot in the SPL. The Hoops boss said: "It is a good game for us to come back to after Tuesday. "No matter what the result is, after a Champions League game it is a difficult transition (to SPL). I know that myself from my own experience as a player and previous managers. Martin O'Neill and Gordon Strachan will tell you that. "We have given them a bit of down time but now it's back to work. "We hope the crowd will be energised by the game this week. "We have to make sure we keep our feet on the pedal. "John McGlynn is a great manager, I've got a lot of admiration for what he has done in the game so far. "Hearts are the great unpredictables. "They have been a wee bit inconsistent but that is understandable with a new manager coming in but Hearts can give any team a run for their money and we have seen that already this year at Anfield against Liverpool. "It is a good game for us to come back to after Tuesday."
