Lennon won't allow Celtic complacency

Neil Lennon believes any hint of complacency within the Celtic squad will be swiftly stamped upon. The Hoops manager is pleased with his side's recent form which has kept them top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with a Scottish Cup fifth-round replay to come against Rangers as well as a Co-operative Insurance Cup final against their Old Firm rivals. While many believe the pendulum has swung towards the Parkhead club, Lennon, looking towards the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday, denied any prospect of a complacent attitude creeping in. "I don't think they will take that attitude because they are good professionals. Some of them haven't been course and distance before but some of them have," he said. "The ones that are more experienced, if there any signs of complacency, will rein it in as will me and my backroom staff as well. But we are not getting carried away at all. "We are pleased, very pleased and we are going into games looking forward to them. If we have to grind out results we will do that but I want them to keep expressing themselves and playing the football they have been showing in the last wee while."
