Lennon still in the dark

It must be frustrating for Neil Lennon twidling his thumbs as he awaits the board's decision Neil Lennon is still sitting in the dark and has no idea when he or anybody else can expect to find out if he will be the club's next permanent manager. The board announced they would be making their decision following the end of the season in which Lennon oversaw eight league wins in a row. Lennon said: "In terms of the job, it is still an ongoing process. It's just as we were after the Hearts game. The club is going through the technicalities and there are applicants for it. I will be around for the next couple of weeks. In early June, I'll go for the residential part of the ProLicense and the club visit. Then I'm going for three weeks' holiday. There is no guarantee I will have an answer by then." Technically no longer the interim manager, Lennon claims he has "not a clue" about any move to bring Hull midfielder Jimmy Bullard to Parkhead on a season-long loan. The agent of another said to be target, freed Blackburn midfielder Steven Reid, says the player has yet to decide on a move to the east end of Glasgow. Reports also suggest Celtic are set to make a dramatic move for Arsenal's Sol Campbell. Lennon went on: "I've been looking for players but whether the club take any notice of that is another thing."
