eil Lennon believes the 2-1 win over Hearts, his eighth SPL win in a row, represents his most persuasive job application for the Celtic job.[LNB] Robbie Keane's first-half opener had been cancelled out by Jambos skipper Marius Zaliukas before a wonderful volley by Chinese midfielder Zheng Zhi on the hour mark gave Lennon the perfect end to his time as interim manager.[LNB]The Parkhead club are set to release a statement explaining the process under which they will recruit their new manager but the 38-year-old Northern Irishman said: "I have seen the statement and it's just about the process of nominating the new manager.[LNB]"It's pretty straightforward really. I don't think they will make a decision overnight.[LNB]"There are people who have applied for the job. I think that was my application there, against Hearts.[LNB]"I don't know who (has applied) but the board have been true to their word that they haven't spoken to anyone until the season is over and I can't thank them enough.[LNB]"I am content with things and I would like to thank them for the opportunity of taking the team in the first place[LNB]"It is a very important decision to make in terms of the future of the club.[LNB]"But I have things to do, I have to finish my Pro-license, I have a club visit to do and I have booked my holidays.[LNB]"I'm making sure I get two weeks this year."[LNB]Lennon also had a message for the Celtic fans if he does not lead the team again.[LNB]He said: "I would thank them for all their support, particularly the ones who came at home to the Motherwell and Hibs game when the stadium was half empty and the ones who came to the away games after the Ross County defeat.[LNB]"They were tremendous and gave the team unbelievable backing."[LNB]Keane, meanwhile, has revealed he is almost certain return to Tottenham this summer.[LNB]The Republic of Ireland international scored his 16th goal in 19 games for Celtic since arriving on loan in January.[LNB]Keane, who was man-of-the-match, told ESPN: "I'm a Tottenham player aren't I? I've got a contract with Tottenham so I will be back there unless someone tells me different.[LNB]"I don't want to be disrespectful to Tottenham, I've got a contract there so as far as I'm concerned I will be back there.[LNB]"I'm delighted with my goal, obviously, that's why I'm here, to score goals.[LNB]"I'm judged on scoring goals and I'm happy with my performance."[LNB]Hearts boss Jim Jefferies backed Lennon for the job, saying: " I hope he does get the job.[LNB]"He has done enough as far as I'm concerned."[LNB]The Jambos boss was pleased with his side's performance despite the defeat.[LNB]He said: "The first half was the best we have played since I came here in January.[LNB]"We didn't play as well in the second half but it was a wonder strike for their winner.[LNB]"The boy did fantastic just to get a touch and it was just a great goal."
