Neil Lennon heaped praise on his players as he celebrated his 100th game in charge of Celtic with a 1-0 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The win was Celtic's 14th league win in a row and keeps the Hoops four points above rivals Rangers, who came from behind to win 4-1 away at Dunfermline, at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
It caps a fine week for the Parkhead club who secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup with a win away to Inverness last weekend before a 4-0 rout of Hearts on Wednesday.
With a place in the League Cup final against Kilmarnock in March already secured it means Celtic's dreams of a domestic treble remain firmly on track.
And Lennon, who lead his side to Scottish Cup glory last year in his first full season in charge, was delighted to see his players come through a difficult week and maintain their winning run which stretches back to November.
"Things are going very well but there is still a long way to go," the Celtic manager said.
"I was wary of this game on the back of Wednesday night. The lads have not had much time to recover and go again but their attitude and quality at times against Inverness was fantastic.
"It wasn?t a vintage performance from this team but it was pretty solid against a very tough Inverness team who had a week?s rest and freshen things up a little bit."
At Parkhead, Joe Ledley opened the scoring for Celtic in the 16th minute when he finished off a flowing move.
However the game only really erupted into life when Daniel Majstorovic, in his first start since December, was controversially shown a straight red on the hour mark.
The Swedish defender clashed with Jonny Hayes on the edge of the box after the winger had nipped in behind him and after consulting with linesman Gerry Sweeney referee Steven McLean gave Majstorovic his marching orders.
Celtic boss Lennon was furious with the decision and said the club would be appealing the sending off after television replays showed Majstorovic may have won the ball in the challenge with Hayes.
"It?s a very debateable decision that?s gone against us," the Hoops manager said.
"I thought he got the ball. How the linesman can give it is beyond me. There were some very inconsistent decisions out there but I don?t think the referee got much help from either of his linesman in that respect.
"I?ve seen it on the TV and it?s pretty inconclusive either way but it looks to me that Daniel has got the ball if you see the way the ball moves.
"From what I gather it was the linesman who spoke to the referee and then he gave the decision. I?m not sure the referee was going to give the decision but then on the linesman?s word he has changed his mind, which in essence is fine.
"The referee has got to go with what his linesman thinks because he might have thought he got a better view but looking at it from the television replay I?m not sure how much the linesman really saw.
"I think both sets of coaching staff were unhappy with the officials? performance today. I?m certainly going to speak to the club about it and see if we have grounds for appeal."
