Lennon may look to speed up Wilson move

Neil Lennon could try to speed up Kelvin Wilson's move to Parkhead after a hamstring injury to Daniel Majstorovic left the Hoops boss with a potential central defensive problem for the midweek game against Hearts. Swedish defender Majstorovic came off during the 1-0 win over Aberdeen, which took the Hoops five points clear of Rangers at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League table after their Old Firm rivals lost at Tynecastle earlier in the day, although the champions have two games in hand. Wilson has signed a pre-contract agreement with Celtic and will move north at the end of the season. However, with Jos Hooiveld away on loan at Copenhagen and Glenn Loovens just making his way back from injury, Lennon could try to persuade Nottingham Forest to release the player early, even if it involves a fee. "We have been looking to strengthen in that area with Hooiveld leaving and Loovens out," the Celtic boss said. "We will have to assess how Daniel is but I would imagine he would struggle for Wednesday so we will be looking to bring a player in. "We will have to speed things up now. It is a blow if Majstorovic is out because he has been immense in the last couple of months for us. We will have to try and get someone of that ilk in. I would imagine that Wilson will be one of the options we look for, yes."
