Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell and interim manager Neil Lennon are set to be quizzed by supporters at a summer series of Q & A sessions.[LNB] The first event will take place at Parkhead on May 27 and will be hosted by the Celtic Trust - who have expressed hope that Lennon's presence is an indication he will remain in charge next season.[LNB]The session was initially scheduled for next Friday evening in St Michael's Church Hall in Glasgow but was moved to Celtic Park to accommodate interest and because of a clash of dates in the Celtic calendar.[LNB]Lennon said: "I know the club has made it a priority in recent years to engage with our fans and this is always something I would support and encourage.[LNB]"The club realises how important the fans are and we know that it is always important to hear their views.[LNB]"It will be great to meet up with the supporters and I look forward to doing this."[LNB]Lawwell added: "Since joining the club, I have always felt it important that we connect with our supporters and we currently do this on a regular basis throughout the season via a range of meetings and events.[LNB]"I know that this has contributed to developing an excellent relationship with fans in recent years and it is very important that we maintain this contact.[LNB]"I have said many times before that Celtic fans are second to none.[LNB]"We understand fully the tremendous commitment our fans make in backing Celtic and we feel the club's idea of going and meeting supporters is important in maintaining this close relationship.[LNB]"We are very much looking forward to meeting our supporters as we look ahead to and build for next season."[LNB]Celtic have yet to confirm whether Lennon will be given the manager's job on a permanent basis after formally launching their search for Tony Mowbray's successor immediately after the final game of the season.[LNB]But a statement on the Celtic Trust's website read: "The announcement that Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon are to respond to the Celtic Trust proposal and go on the road in a series of 'open meetings' with the fans is to be welcomed.[LNB]"It would seem strange in the extreme to organise the first of these meetings with Lennon in attendance and then appoint someone else.[LNB]"Hopefully this is an indication that the decision to appoint Lenny has already been taken in principle and that the delay in announcing the appointment is caused by the need to put in place certain other contingencies.[LNB]"If and when the appointment is announced the new manager needs to know that the quid pro quo is that he has our support for the whole of next season and that those of us who have consistently argued for his appointment will not be found wanting."
