Lennon hopes for defensive boost

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is hopeful he will have at least one natural central defender available for Sunday's crunch Old Firm Scottish Cup clash. The Hoops were forced to field a makeshift central defensive pairing of Mark Wilson and Charlie Mulgrew as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Tuesday night. However Lennon said Glenn Loovens and Daniel Majstorovic could both make a return from injury in time for the match against Rangers at Ibrox this weekend. He said: "Loovens started training on Monday and we are hoping that Majstorovic will be back training on Friday. We will speak to the medical team about him (Majstorovic). His hamstring was feeling a little bit stiff but if there is no reaction tomorrow he could come into contention."
