Lennon enthused by improving Hoops

Neil Lennon believes he is now beginning to see signs that Celtic are becoming the team he wants to see on the park after they took a step closer to the Europa League group stages. The Hoops endured a less-than-convincing start to the campaign - Lennon's first in charge since officially taking over the hotseat - when they crashed out of the Champions League at the qualifying stage to Braga. They hit back with a win at Inverness in last week's Clydesdale Bank Premier League opener before delivering another victory on the European stage in the first leg of their play-off against Utrecht. "There are bits and pieces," said Lennon. "There was still a bit of a lack of understanding in the first half that we had a chat about at half-time. "I was more comfortable in the second half, without creating too many chances, than the first half. But it will come. "There is a lot of work ahead of us but what we've got is good energy, good pace and power in the team and no shortage of quality as well."
