Celtic manager Neil Lennon insists his behaviour was "exemplary" during last weekend's Old Firm clash.
Lennon cupped his ears while the subject of abuse from Rangers fans as he walked towards the Ibrox tunnel following the goalless Clydesdale Bank Premier League draw. His actions sparked a complaint to Strathclyde Police, who took no action.
The former Celtic captain, who was the target of two intercepted parcel bombs last month, said: "My behaviour was exemplary on Sunday during the game. No spats with anyone. I walked on the pitch like always after away games, congratulated my players and the fans, which I'm entitled to do. Some people stayed behind to let me know what they thought of me and I just cupped my ear to say I'm not listening."
Lennon added: "It was reported the police spoke to me. They didn't. There were two policeman at the end of the tunnel and they congratulated me as I came off.
"It's just totally over the top, all these commentators and experts taking the moral high ground. I find it hilarious."
