Celtic manager Neil Lennon is close to adding further to his squad after the club held more talks with Jimmy Bullard and Joe Ledley.
Hull midfielder Bullard could join Celtic on loan as City look to reduce their wage bill following their relegation to the npower Championship. The 31-year-old has returned to Glasgow to visit Celtic's Lennoxtown training complex.
Ledley, who would be able to sign for Celtic for free under cross-border transfer rules following the expiry of his Cardiff contract, also flew in to Glasgow for a second visit. The 23-year-old winger has also been linked with a move to Liverpool, West Brom and Stoke, who would have to pay compensation to the Bluebirds.
His agent, David Baldwin, told BBC Scotland: "At the moment we're just having a look around, simple as that.
"There's a few places that we've wanted to have a look at. It's early days yet, we'll see."
Lennon has signed full-backs Charlie Mulgrew and Cha Du-Ri, a South Korea international, since being confirmed as Celtic manager.
