Lennon close to double signing
Celtic manager Neil Lennon confirmed he was close to making two additions to his defence following his side's 1-0 Clydesdale Bank Premier League victory over Inverness.
Lennon's team kept their first clean sheet since the summer break as Paddy McCourt netted a glorious winner during a dominant second-half display.
But Lennon soon revealed that Sweden centre-back Daniel Majstorovic, 33, and Honduras left-back Emilio Izaguirre were both due to undergo medicals in Glasgow.
"Majstorovic is in over the weekend for a medical so we think we're nearly over the line with him," Lennon said. "Izaguirre will be in on Sunday but I don't know how far we are down the line with him."
