The Gaffer insists spirits are high at Parkhead

Neil Lennon today insisted there are no internal problems at Celtic and believes his players will recapture the form that so them earn many plaudits last season.

Lennon responded to a raft of gossip and rumours suggesting there had been a bust-up between himself and winger Kris Commons.

A defiant Lennon insisted, "There has never been a problem between myself and Chris. There is no dressing room unrest. I have a great relationship with them.

The Gaffer also defended his players after suffering a severe dip in form in the past few months and insists things will come good soon.

He said: "It's a short-term problem but I need to rectify it very quickly and get them playing to their potential. The players are not far away from hitting the ground running. I know we can win games on a consistent basis because we've done it before."
