Ledley still haunted by Caley

Joe Ledley still thinks about Celtic's shock defeat at Inverness at the end of last season - even though he watched the game on television.[LNB] The Hoops midfielder was out injured when Celtic travelled north for their game in hand over leaders Rangers on May 3 and although Caley had grabbed a last-gasp point at Parkhead earlier in the season, the visitors were odds-on to go two points clear of their Old Firm rivals at the top of the table.[LNB]However, the Highlanders upset the odds to win 3-2, which kept Celtic one point behind with three matches remaining and the Ibrox side, buoyed by the unlikely boost, went on to retain their title to make it three in a row.[LNB]Ledley admits that the prospect of Inverness' visit on Saturday rekindles the disappointment of their last meeting.[LNB]"I didn't play in that game but I watched it and I do think we have a point to prove against them," said the Wales international.[LNB]"It is still in the back of the players' minds, definitely. It is for me so obviously it must be the same for them.[LNB]"Maybe that result might have cost us the league so we are unhappy with it.[LNB]"Inverness did well against us a couple of times last season. We were 2-0 up at home and they came back to draw and they beat us at their ground as well. We slipped up and hopefully we have learned from that.[LNB]"They are a good team, we know it's going to be tough and we have to respect them but hopefully we have enough to deal with it."[LNB]Lennon insists his players have to simply forget the defeat against Inverness as they keep on the trail of Rangers, who are four points clear at the top.[LNB]The Celtic boss said: "You have to (forget it). It's gone, consigned to the history books.[LNB]"It will always stick in the players' minds I suppose, as maybe one that got away, but it's a new season and a new challenge for them.[LNB]"It's a different Inverness team because they have changed the old guard in some ways and brought in some fresh blood but they are always going to be difficult opponents."
