Chris Killen is not sorry to have missed out on the backlash his old Celtic team-mates are experiencing as their season draws to a close.[LNB] Caretaker boss Neil Lennon and his players are currently feeling the full force of the fury sparked by their Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Ross County, with the club also on the brink of conceding the Scottish Premier League title to Rangers.[LNB]Striker Killen, who left Parkhead for Championship Middlesbrough in January, knows exactly what the Bhoys will be going through after his time north of the border.[LNB]He said: "You have got mates up there and you want to see them do well.[LNB]"The boys who have come down here, watching the results and seeing how poorly they have done, you know what a hard time they are going to be getting up there from the fans and the press.[LNB]"So, from that side of things, it's just nice to be away from that.[LNB]"They will be getting ripped apart up there, and it's a shame because it would have been nice for Lenny to get off to a good start and do well with the team and hopefully push for the job up there.[LNB]"For him, I would really like them to do well."[LNB]Whether or not the cup defeat has damaged Lennon's hopes of landing the job on a permanent basis remains to be seen, although Killen admits dissent had been building for some time.[LNB]The 28-year-old New Zealand international said: "They will probably have been calling for his head after that - that's what it's like up there. As soon as you lose a bit of silverware, it's doom and gloom.[LNB]"But I don't think they have had the best of seasons anyway, so it's just kind of snowballed on from that."
