Kamara relishing Novo showdown

Diomansy Kamara has stoked up Tuesday's final Old Firm derby of the season by revealing he plans to use the game to shut Nacho Novo up.

Rangers forward Novo reacted to securing a second successive Clydesdale Bank Premier League title by accusing the Hoops of blaming "everyone but themselves" for one of their most miserable seasons in recent memory.

"It is not good to talk like that. Rangers deserve to be champions this year but it is always nice to be gracious," Kamara said.

"Novo is not playing, he is always on the bench, so maybe he is speaking like this because he wants a new contract.

"Rangers are a strong team who have only lost two league games this season. We haven't beaten them yet but Tuesday is a big chance to prove ourselves. An 11-point gap between Rangers and Celtic is too much and we want to close that.

"We also want to show a reaction to Novo and maybe then he can be quiet. We will see what happens."
