ew Celtic defender Efrain Juarez says he is relishing the prospect of guiding his new 'historical' club to silverware this season.[LNB] Juarez agreed to join Neil Lennon's side earlier in July and the former Pumas defender can now link up with his team-mates after securing a work permit.[LNB]The Mexican, who featured for his country at this summer's World Cup finals in South Africa, says he is aware of the historical aura surrounding the Bhoys.[LNB]And the 22-year-old, speaking at the airport before his departure to Parkhead, made clear his intention that he has joined the Glasgow giants to be successful.[LNB]Speaking to Mediotiempo about his move, Juarez said: "I am very happy, with a big expectation. I am going to a historical team, not only in Scotland, also in Europe.[LNB]"I know that in the last years they didn't have so much success but I am going there to help the team to win titles.[LNB]"It's an extra motivation for me to know what the local press has been talking about my arrival to Celtic.[LNB]"I am going to give all the best from me, dedication, effort and hard work. In addition, I will also try to put Mexico's name as high as possible."[LNB]One of the biggest challenges awaiting the South American stopper is the Old Firm derby against Rangers he will encounter with his new employers.[LNB]The two foes collide for the first time in October and Juarez is acutely aware of the magnitude of the clash between the city rivals.[LNB]He added: "The derby against Rangers is a match that is played with a very big expectation, it's a match to be dead or alive.[LNB]"It's a derby that puts an entire city in shock during 90 minutes and it's played like any derby in the world because there is a very big rivalry."
