Jenkins: No SPL bids for Swans duo

Defender Rangel, whose contract expires in the summer, has been linked with a £500,000 transfer to Tony Mowbray's Scottish Premier League giants.

Speculation has also been rife over a possible move for team-mate Dobbie to the SPL - but Swans chairman Jenkins insists there is no imminent prospect of either player leaving the Liberty Stadium.

Jenkins told the Swansea Evening Post: "We have had no offers for anybody and I haven't spoken to anyone at Celtic about Angel.

"We haven't received any calls about Angel and, as we have always made clear, we will not look to do anything unless it is the right time for our club."

He added: "At the present time nothing is happening with Stephen Dobbie and we have had no offers to take him either permanently or on loan. He is fit and looking to win a place in our first team."
