Izaguirre planning Celtic stay

Emilio Izaguirre's agent insists the left-back wants to honour his contract at Celtic and says a move to the Premier League is "not a reality".[LNB] The Honduran has claimed that English champions Manchester United were interested in a deal in January, while Liverpool have also been linked with a move.[LNB]But Celtic manager Neil Lennon said on Sunday that he hoped Izaguirre, and Beram Kayal, would sign an extension to his current deal, which expires in three years.[LNB]And the Parkhead boss has now been boosted by the words of the representative of Scotland's double Player of the Year from last season. [LNB]Izaguirre's adviser, Marco Tulio Suazo, said in the Daily Record: "I can tell all the fans of the club that Emilio has the sole mission of not lowering the level that made him the best foreigner in the Scottish Premier League.[LNB]"Emilio has the plan of fulfilling the contract that still binds him to Celtic as an alleged sale to England, at this moment in time, is not a reality."
