Injury prevents Commons adding to his caps

A hamstring injury means that Kris Commons does niot travel to Ireland with Scotland Kris Commons picked up a hamstring injury during the Scottish Cup final win over Motherwell. He has decided to drop out of the Scotland squad due to travel to Dublin for the games against Wales and the Republic of Ireland. The games are due to be played in Dublin's Aviva Stadium on 25th and 29th May.   Commons played his part in the Cup Final before being substituted in the 81st minute. The midfielder scored when Scotland met Northern Ireland in their first game of the Carling Nations Cup competition in February.
