Celtic manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed that Artur Boruc, Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney will definitely miss the clash with Dundee United at Tannadice Park due to injury.
Boruc is currently sidelined by a knee injury, while Brown has an ankle injury and Maloney is being troubled by tendinitis.
Mowbray told the club's official website: "There's no chance of them being ready for Tannadice. They aren't ready to train this week, so it's not a question of rushing them back.
"They're trying to get fit and are working with the medical staff. It's frustrating because they're all influential players for us, but we have to accept it."
Mowbray will also be without the services of captain Stephen McManus, who completes a two-match suspension, while fellow defender Glenn Loovens is a major doubt due to a groin strain sustained in the 3-3 draw with Falkirk.
