Hopes fading for Bojan loan deal

Reports indicate Bojan will remain at Barca for next season after the Spanish club opted against sending the forward out. The gifted 18-year-old has been linked with a loan move away from Barca for next season, with Rovers and the Hoops two of a reported 20 sides said to be interested in his services. However, it is reported that it has been decided it would be best for Bojan to stay with the Champions League holders, after manager Pep Guardiola held discussions with Barca officials. The Spaniard broke into the Catalan club's first-team in 2007 and his goals helped the club win the Copa del Rey last campaign. Meanwhile, David Dunn is looking forward to the season ahead with Blackburn as he bids to return from injury. The 29-year-old endured an injury-plagued campaign last term, making just 17 appearances in all competitions. He missed the season's run-in after having an operation on his Achilles and is now targeting a return, along with fellow Rovers players Brett Emerton and Steven Reid. Dunn told Sky Sports News: "Obviously there's a couple of us this year, obviously Brett Emerton had a serious knee injury, likewise did Steven Reid and there's myself - so we'll be in there working hard all summer. "We've got a great backroom staff, great physios at the club, great doctor so I am just hoping that all three of us can get back into contention pretty quickly." Dunn also praised manager Sam Allardyce for keeping the club in the Premier League and is hoping Rovers do better next term. He added: "Without being too unkind, we didn't have a great season this year. "But we feel that next year we can really push on. "He (Allardyce) has done a great job and he has stabilised the club and give us at least another season in that top-flight."
