Honduras World Cup defender Emilio Izaguirre has completed his move to Celtic.
The 24-year-old left-back has joined the Hoops from Honduran club Motagua after impressing Hoops boss Neil Lennon during his two appearances in South Africa.
Izaguirre has not signed in time to feature in Thursday's Europa League qualifier against Utrecht, but he could make his debut against St Mirren in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday.
"He won't play tomorrow (Thursday) but should be available for selection after that," explained Lennon.
"He's a good player. He's strong defensively, he's quick, he's got a very good left foot and he's good going forward.
"(Full-back) is an area we've been looking to fill for a while.
"We've taken our time with this one and we think we've got the right one."
