Hoops and Boro wait on Giroud
The 23-year-old has been in wonderful form in France's Ligue 2 this season and has attracted interest from a host of clubs. Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Auxerre are among the French clubs trailing him, while the Hoops and Boro are hopeful of persuading him to cross the channel. Now Tours have confirmed that they are gearing up to sell Giroud, who is understood to have a price-tag of around £2million. "Sure, Olivier Giroud will be sold during the next transfer window," Tours director general Max Marty confirmed. "His departure should take place during the first week."
