Hooper return lifts Hoops

Manager Neil Lennon praised the collective improvement of his Celtic side after a 3-0 win at Hibernian consolidated their position at the top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League table. After setting up a 44th-minute opener for Gary Hooper, who was returning from an ankle injury, ex-Hibs striker Anthony Stokes tucked in a 50th-minute penalty after he was brought down by Lewis Stevenson. Stokes, who moved to Celtic last August after helping Hibs to fourth place last season, skilfully netted his second after 64 minutes to confirm a 15th win of the campaign. Lennon said: "It was pretty comprehensive in the end and but for better finishing it could've been a few more. "We were a bit sloppy in the first 20 minutes and I thought once (Beram) Kayal got a grip on the game for us, he got us playing. He got our strikers in the game."
