Hooper hopeful of making Hearts game

Celtic striker Gary Hooper hopes to make his SPL debut against Hearts at Parkhead on Saturday after returning to training following an injury.[LNB] Hooper tore a calf muscle following a collision in a pre-season friendly against Blackburn.[LNB]The summer signing from Scunthorpe has stepped up his rehabilitation this week, though, and hopes to feature at the weekend.[LNB]Hooper, who scored against Braga on his competitive debut, told the The Huddle Online: "I'm hoping to be ready for the Hearts game.[LNB]"I have been in every day except Sundays getting a massage and getting the legs going.[LNB]"I have now done some running and strength work and ball work outside.[LNB]"The international break has done me a favour because I don't miss another game. I will hopefully train with the squad towards the end of the week and be involved in the Hearts game."
