Hooiveld: Utrecht game no different

Jos Hooiveld insists he has nothing to prove on his return to Holland against Utrecht - but Celtic do as they chase a Europa League group spot.[LNB] Hooiveld began his career with local side Heerenveen before spells in Austria, Finland and Sweden led to him winning a move to the Hoops in January.[LNB]He claims being back in his homeland for the second leg clash has no sentimental value and says he has moved on from his days in the Eredivisie.[LNB]Hooiveld said: "We play here with 11 against 11 as well so it's not really special. I don't have so much with the Dutch people in a football way and they don't have so much with me.[LNB]"My last game in Holland was five or six years ago so it's been a while and maybe I've forgotten a bit how it was. In five or six years a lot of things can change."[LNB]He added: "I'm just proud of the way I did it. That's what they always ask - did I have something to prove? But I don't have to prove myself to anybody.[LNB]"If you're playing for Celtic, you have the proof there every week that you're worth that.[LNB]"I want to prove to them more that I am worthy of the shirt than I want to prove here in Holland what I can do in one game."[LNB]However, he believes Celtic do have something to prove as they attempt to secure a place in the Europa League group stages - but not because of the disappointment they endured against Braga in Champions League qualifying.[LNB]He said: "Celtic always has to prove a point and that applies in the Europa League as well. But it's not because of what happened in the Champions League.[LNB]"It's because it's something you want to do and something you have to do. Let's see how we do."[LNB]Hooiveld was forced to sit out the first leg at Parkhead through suspension but goals from Efrain Juarez and Georgios Samaras put Celtic firmly in the driving seat ahead of tomorrow night's clash.[LNB]He said: "It's 2-0 and they have to score twice to get extra-time. If they score three times, they have a good possibility.[LNB]"It's always good to be two goals ahead and it's a good start for us. We haven't spoken about losing an early goal.[LNB]"You shouldn't put that stuff in peoples' heads. It's something you should not think about, we should only be thinking about our own game and that is what the manager has said as well.[LNB]"They are a dangerous team as well and we have to be focused. We have to make sure we don't lose our concentration.[LNB]"I saw a couple of threats from them at Parkhead but I thought we did really well. They did what they could."
