Hooiveld has nothing to prove

Jos Hooiveld insists he has nothing to prove upon his return to Holland as he bids to help Celtic beat Utrecht to a place in the Europa League group stages. The Dutch defender began his career with local side Heerenveen before spells in Austria, Finland and Sweden before winning a move to the Hoops in January. He claims being back in his homeland for the second leg clash has no sentimental value and says he has moved on from his days in the Eredivisie, which are now firmly behind him. Hooiveld said: "We play here with 11 against 11 as well so it's not really special. I don't have so much with the Dutch people in a football way and they don't have so much with me. "My last game in Holland was five or six years ago so it's been a while and maybe I've forgotten a bit how it was. In five or six years a lot of things can change." He added: "I'm just proud of the way I did it. That's what they always ask - did I have something to prove? But I don't have to prove myself to anybody."
