Celtic striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink wants to see out the remainder of his career at Parkhead.
The 28-year-old Holland international netted 18 times in his debut SPL season despite suffering from a host of frustrating injuries.
Hoops boss Gordon Strachan has already added competition for striking berths to his squad in the shape of Scott McDonald and Chris Killen for next season, but Vennegoor of Hesselink claims he is happy in Scotland and looking to put down roots.
"Of course you don't know what will happen, but if my family continues to be happy then I would like to end my career at Celtic," he revealed.
"I've had four years at Twente, five years at PSV Eindhoven, and a few more seasons at Celtic gives me an excellent record.
"I think I've made a lot of my opportunities as a footballer."
