Hard to get into a winning team

Mark Wilson is champing at the bit to get into the first team on a regular basis. Full-back Mark Wilson feels he is ready to make a contribution to the team following injury but he realises he will have to be patient. Wilson played in the 6-0 win over Inverness in the Co-operative Insurance Cup last month after recovering from a groin problem. However, he has yet to make an appearance in the league this season with the team currently on a 15-game winning streak in the competition. Wilson said: "I've played the last few reserve games, maybe three or four now, and the first-team game against Inverness in the League Cup, so I'm not lacking in match fitness. It was just a case that I was out through injury and the team's been performing well. Sometimes that happens in football and you just have to bide your time. I'm back being involved training every day and have been for a good few weeks now. I feel like I've been doing okay, and the manager and the coaching staff have told me on a number of occasions that they're pleased at how I'm playing and just to wait my time. So it's really just a case of keeping my head up and not getting too disappointed that I'm not in the team."
