Groin injury to sideline Boruc

Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a groin strain in the warm-up before Sunday's 4-2 defeat at Aberdeen.

Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan is unsure how long the Polish shot-stopper, who was replaced by Mark Brown for the Pittodrie clash, will be sidelined for.

He said: "I have no idea how long he will be out for. He slipped when warming up. We will have to wait until the injury calms down over the next couple of days.

"In free play, Mark Brown has not had a save to make. In four free-kicks, they got four goals. We have to analyse that and eradicate that.

"I feel sorry for him because he has not had a chance to show his ability. The only time he has had to do anything is pick the ball out the back of the net."
