Good things to come after Izaguirre's wait

Emilio Izaguirre has revealed that Celtic is the move he feels like he has been waiting his whole career for.The 23-year-old Honduras left-back has long sought a move to British football but until he completed his Celtic switch that ambition was continually frustrated. Izaguirre secured a trial at Ipswich back in 2008 but problems with a work permit meant a move could not be completed. This summer he entered talks with Wigan about another transfer to England from his Honduran club, Motagua, but again saw his hopes foiled.Izaguirre, poised to make his Celtic debut with the trip to Motherwell on Sunday, said: "Coming to a club like Celtic is a dream come true at last for me. I will put the effort in during training every day and play each match here as if it's the last game of my life."Celtic showed a lot of interest in me and I'm delighted to be here. I think any player in the world would be happy to arrive at a club as big as this."Izaguirre added: "There was a chance I could have joined Wigan, but it was only going to be possible if Maynor Figueroa left and he didn't. It's true that when I was younger I went to Ipswich, but I couldn't get the work permit at that time."
