Fraser Forster given odds of 3/1 to face Sweden

Celtic keeper Fraser Forster is 3/1 to start for England in the friendly against Sweden next Wednesday, according to Ladbrokes.

Following his impressive performance against Barcelona the bookies have also slashed the odds on him making the plane to Brazil for the World Cup to just evens.

Leon Osman's odds of starting against Sweden are shorter at 6/4 but he subsequently earns a quote of 5/1 to make the cut for the World Cup while his Merseyside rival Raheem Sterling is 5/4 to line up for kick-off.

The bookies can't split the sides in the match betting at 6/4 each making the draw 11/5.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "We reckon the new recruits will all get a run out against Sweden. When it comes to going to the World Cup it's Forster who looks like having the best chance of making the plane."
