Forrest hails Celtic squad

Celtic winger James Forrest believes the depth of their squad could be crucial in the final stages of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League title race.

The 19-year-old has endured an injury-interrupted season like other team-mates but Celtic's injury worries have eased in recent weeks, with Shaun Maloney on the verge of a comeback which means only Cha Du-ri, Andreas Hinkel and Daniel Majstorovic remain out.

"Only Daniel Majstorovic is injured and there is a big squad so there will be a need to change things about," Forrest said. "There is talk of us having four games in eight days, so if the manager needs to change the team he has the players to do it. That was my first start for two months I'm delighted to be back in the team and hopefully I can play more."

Forrest added: "Everyone is buzzing at the moment, we are in the position where want to be in the last 10 games of the season."
