Everyday is a school day

Thomas Rogne is squared-eyed from watching how he played against Rangers Thomas Rogne has been watching his own personal video nasty "over and over" in order to learn from his errors in the Co-Operative Insurance Cup final and move on. Rogne was hooked and replaced by Glenn Loovens in the 73rd minute after struggling to get to grips with Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic, who later scored the winner. There has been plenty of time for Ronge to view the horror story as Celtic have not played since the 2-1 reverse in the 20 March final, apart from a friendly against Athletic Bilbao. Ronge was not involved as he was an unused squad player in Norway's EURO 2012 qualifier against Denmark. So he is eager to get back in action when Celtic welcome Hibs to Parkhead on Wednesday, especially after Saturday's game at Inverness was postponed just two hours before kick-off.  Ronge said: "It has been a while since we played our last game and that was a disappointing game, so we are really looking forward to playing on Wednesday. It takes a few days to recover from that type of game but we all had a good experience with our national teams, and the guys who were still here had a good game in Spain, so we got the cup final out of our system. It was a disappointing game personally as well, it wasn't my best game at all. I watched the game over and over so I think I learned from my mistakes and hopefully I will play better next time. Players deal with it differently. I always like to watch my games after I play. Whether it's a good game or a bad game, you can always learn. That's how I got it out of my system and I learnt from it."  Rogne's video-based homework has also helped him prepare for the game against Hibs, whose 2-2 draw against Hearts on Sunday stretched their unbeaten run to seven games. Rogne said: "I watched them at the weekend against Hearts, they played a good game. It's a good team, they like to play football and they have some good quality players so we are looking forward to the game."
