Du Chatinier backs Utrecht to shine

Ton du Chatinier expects Utrecht to progress to the group stages of the Europa League - even if they suffer a narrow defeat at Celtic Park.[LNB] The Dutch side have already overcome SK Tirana and Lucerne in the competition, while Celtic hope to resurrect their own European campaign after crashing to Braga in Champions League qualifying.[LNB]Neil Lennon has warned his players to make the most of home advantage in front of what he hopes will be a packed Parkhead for the first leg of the play-offs.[LNB]But du Chatinier claims that even defeat will not spell the end for his side, who are confident they can finish the job in Holland next week.[LNB]"Any good result will be okay," he said.[LNB]"Even if we lose by a small amount, we are confident we will be able to beat them in our own stadium.[LNB]"If we lost 4-0, it would be quite hopeless. Anything that would give us a fighting chance of winning the match would give us good confidence when we head back on Friday."[LNB]He has already been given the low-down on Lennon by his captain, Michael Silberbauer, who played against the Celtic boss for FC Copenhagen in the Champions League in 2006.[LNB]And du Chatinier fully expects a physical battle when both teams meet on Thursday night.[LNB]He said: "Celtic have the strength and they work with the heart. The coach is telling them 'when we start a game, we are going into war.'[LNB]"I talked with Michael and he has played against the coach and on the field he was also a terrible player to play against. He was always very hard and I think we can expect that tomorrow night here.[LNB]"The players will look at the internet and see what kind of club Celtic is. Of course, we will warn them about the audience they will get[LNB]here tomorrow night but I think that's normal before we start a game against Celtic."[LNB]Utrecht will do their homework on Celtic but du Chatinier will tell his players to stick to their own game as much as possible.[LNB]He added: "I saw on the DVD that the Celtic players play at a high speed and want to run a lot.[LNB]"So the team will try to play at their own pace but if they need to speed up and play at their speed they will do so if necessary. We saw two of Celtic's games on DVD. In fairness, the first half they didn't play very well but the second half was very good and it could have been 4-0 or 5-0 for Celtic, they had a lot of chances in the second half."
