Celtic defender Jean-Joel Perrier Doumbe has targeted a return to the first team following his comeback from a long-term injury.
The 28-year-old centre-half ruptured his Achilles tendon back in October but returned to action for the club's reserves against Gretna last week.
"I am probably looking at reserve football at the moment to try to get my fitness back to 100 per cent," said the Cameroonian.
"I want to be back playing in the first team before the end of the season.
"I signed a new contract while I was out injured, which will guarantee that I am here at least until the end of next season.
"That was very good news for me because, if I had not been able to come back from my injury before the end of this season, I would have been out of contract without a club and still injured."
