Donati's Bhoys exit talk cools

The agent of Celtic's Italian midfielder Massimo Donati has played down reports of his client heading home to join Bari.

The 28-year-old has struggled to make a mark at Parkhead, but has been given renewed hope by the arrival of new manager Tony Mowbray this summer.

His agent, Andrea D'Amico, commented: "The player is preparing with Celtic for the play-off stage of the Champions League. So until August 26 there will be no decisions made about his future.

"If a return to Italy were an option, then this would take place in the last few days of the transfer market.

"But if Celtic are in the Champions League again, that would be something he would find hard to walk away from."
