Portuguese club Maritimo claim an agreement in principle has been reached with Celtic for the sale of striker Baba Diawara to the Clydesdale Bank Premier League team.
The Hoops have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old Senegalese forward ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline.
Maritimo president Carlos Pereira told the Daily Record: "I don't want to talk about the financial details but I've spoken with Celtic and everything is okay. There is an agreement and I'm happy. I also believe Celtic are happy."
