Crash course continues for Ki

The Korean midfielder, 21, has made two appearances for the Hoops since officially signing from FC Seoul on January 1 on a four-year deal. Ki made his debut in a 1-1 home draw against Falkirk then, after recovering from a knock, he came on as substitute on Wednesday night as Tony Mowbray's side lost 2-1 to Hibernian at Parkhead to fall 10 points behind Rangers at the top of the SPL. The Celtic playmaker is hoping to get up to speed with life in the SPL as quickly as possible. "I am trying to learn how to play here and get used to the players because Asian football and Scottish football is totally different," he said. "I have played just two games but the speed is different and I felt it was more physical. "It is similar to English football - but very different to Korean football. "But I am really enjoying my time at the club. "I will try to play the way I did in Korea and I want to help Celtic chase Rangers. "Of course we are having a hard time now and people are expecting a lot of things but we are building a new team. "Some players are going out and some are coming in so it is a bit complicated but all the players are trying their best. "There is a lot of pressure to play for a great club like Celtic because all the players here expect more. "I think we can do better and the results will come for us."
