There is a "strong possibility" of Celtic signing former Gretna defender Aurelien Collin, according to the Frenchman's current club.[LNB] The president of Portuguese side Vitoria de Setubal claims to have received an approach for the 24-year-old from an English agent claiming to represent the Hoops.[LNB]Vitoria president Fernando Oliveira said in the Evening Times: "We already knew that there was interest in Collin, but now we have received a firmer approach for him.[LNB]"An English agent came to enquire about Collin's situation with us and there is a strong possibility that he will leave to join Celtic.[LNB]"There has also been an approach for him from a Portuguese club. But if Collin is to leave, his likeliest destination is Scotland. "It depends on various circumstances what price we will be likely to sell him for."[LNB]Collin began his career in France with Sedan and played for Real Mallorca before joining Gretna for one season.[LNB]He also turned out for Greek outfit Panserraikos and Wrexham before moving to Portugal.
