Dominic Cervi being frustrated could be a driver to improve his game to force his way into Neil Lennon's plans Dominic Cervi has expressed his frustration at not making a first-team appearance since moving to Parkhead in 2009. While he recognises he has not right to a game, that does not help when another week goes by and he passed by. However, he has been earmarked as one for the future. While coping with the disappointment of his lack of game time with Celtic, Cervi has been boosted by being called-up to the USA squad for last week's game against South Africa. He said: "It's frustrating because I'm in every day working hard and I know you can't just walk straight into the Celtic team, but at the same time you want games and you don't want to be sitting on the bench. I'm coming in every day and I've been keeping my head down and working hard. You don't know if anyone's noticing and then all of a sudden this comes along and it's really gratifying. I had no idea I was even on their radar so now that I know I am it has raised my confidence a little bit. It was a huge compliment and it's nice to know the hard work isn't going unnoticed. I try to keep plugging away and hopefully this is the start of good things for me."
