Rogne in contention for Celtic

Defender Thomas Rogne is back in training after a leg injury and is in contention for Celtic's home Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Inverness which could secure the title.

Striker Lassad Nouioui (calf) and defender Adam Matthews (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.

Skipper Scott Brown has recovered from surgery on an abductor problem but is still not close to returning to training.

Boss Neil Lennon starts a three-match touchline ban.

He attended a disciplinary tribunal at Hampden Park and was found guilty, on the back of two complaints to the SFA, of using offensive language towards Saints skipper Jim Goodwin during a match at St Mirren Park on 31 March.

No sanction was issued for the breach of disciplinary rule 203 but a suspended three-game ban from last season was triggered.

The former Celtic skipper will not appeal and thus will sit in the stand on Sunday'.

The Northern Irishman said: "It is four hours of my life that I am never going to get back.

"It was a complete waste of time and effort. It sums up a lot of things about football in this country; petty, narrow-minded.

"There was a fourth-official stood six feet away from and didn't feel I did anything wrong so I still think it is bizarre that on the strength of two complaints, from a game that was televised all around Britain and which maybe had 500,000 people watching that the SFA decided to take this on."

Inverness boss Terry Butcher has given his squad a clean bill of health as they look to maintain their perfect record in Glasgow this season.

The Caley Thistle manager has watched his side triumph twice in the city this season after beating Rangers in the Scottish Communities League Cup in October and then Celtic on Clydesdale Bank Premier League duty a month later.

The Hoops are looking to celebrate a second successive top-flight title but Butcher is confident of mounting a third Highland uprising of the season and has a full-strength side at his disposal.
