According to reports, Robert Larsson, 35, was found dead in his flat in Sweden at the weekend. A question mark now hangs over Larsson's involvement in Sweden's World Cup qualifier against Malta on Wednesday. The 37-year-old was a huge fans' favourite during his seven years at Celtic, where he scored 242 goals in 315 appearances. A Celtic spokesperson said: "The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Celtic are very much with Henrik and the entire Larsson family at what will be an extremely difficult time, following the tragic passing of Robert. "Henrik Larsson is a man who will forever be held in the highest esteem, not only by Celtic and its fans, but by football supporters around the world after everything he has done in the game. "He is someone who is rightly regarded as a true Celtic legend and a man who we were privileged to have as such a major part of our club for seven years. "Clearly, he and his family have experienced a huge loss and we are sure the entire Celtic family send their condolences to them all at this time."
