Hamburg's 2-0 win over Rapid Vienna in the other Group C fixture took them top with 10 points, one more than Hapoel, and made Celtic's trip to Vienna on December 17 a redundant final fixture.[LNB]Greece striker Georgios Samaras gave Celtic the lead midway through the first half and Barry Robson added a second after the break but it was too little too late.[LNB]Celtic had lost 2-1 away to the Israeli side in the opening group game in September before fighting out draws against Rapid Vienna and Hamburg while suffering a home defeat to the Bundesliga side, all games in which the Parkhead side could arguably have gathered more points.[LNB]Hamburg and Hapoel are through to the knockout stages but Caldwell said: "We have no regrets. You can't look back in football.[LNB]"We are disappointed to be out but we knew beforehand that qualification was a long shot.[LNB]"We just wanted to win this game and we did that. On those other nights we weren't good enough to pick up the points and as I said, we can't dwell on what happened in this competition, that's in the past now, they are through so good luck to them.[LNB]"We are out of this competition so we have to focus on the SPL.[LNB]"The performances in our last two games have been good, it could have been more than 2-0, and we have to keep that going."[LNB][LNB]
