Celtic goalkeeper Mark Brown was delighted to be handed the chance to impress in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Aberdeen after first-choice shot-stopper Artur Boruc pulled out of the match at the last minute.
Poland international Boruc picked up a toe injury while representing his country and dropped out of the Dons match after struggling in the warm-up.
Brown told the club's official website: "It's not like I've been inactive. I've played a lot of reserve games and you do the same training.
"The standard of the opponents goes up from the reserves but you just have to get on with that and not worry about it.
"The boys were fantastic. They got the goals and could have scored at least three or four more. Jamie Langfield made some great saves for Aberdeen."
Saturday's appearance was only the 26-year-old former Inverness Caledonian Thistle shot-stopper's fifth start for the Bhoys since joining the club in January.
