Brown continues Diouf feud

Celtic captain Scott Brown has continued his feud with El-Hadji Diouf, claiming Rangers' new signing "picked on the wrong guy". Brown has described the yellow card he received for celebrating in Diouf's face when he netted Celtic's second equaliser during the 2-2 Scottish Cup fifth-round draw on Sunday as the "best booking I've had in my life". Diouf accused the Celtic captain of trying to get him sent off, but Brown has hit back. "He wanted to drag me into a battle and I was quite happy to oblige him. I think I came out of it on top and he knows it," Brown said in the Daily Record. "I don't want to go into detail about what he said about my family. It was crude and it was vulgar but that's up to him. Yes, I did respond to him but what did he expect?" Brown added: "The celebration was brilliant and I don't regret it in the slightest. It was the best booking I've had in my life. I wasn't trying to make him snap or get him sent off. "It was all just a bit of banter as far as I was concerned. I've been wound up by loads of people on the park and I've done it to more than my fair share of opponents as well. It's part of the game."
